While on your journey through the goblin caves to find the legendary sword Excalibur, you happen across a portal. Curious, you head through. Once through, you find yourself out of place. Seeing strangely dressed humans, some walking wild animals. You swing your mighty sword at them. Soon enough strange men in blue uniforms attempt to stop you. Can you survive?

Rules:

You have 5 lives, healing recovers 3. You can heal every 30-40 seconds. Enemies attack once per second :D

The number at the top right corner indicates how many enemies are still left.

This game was made for the Completion Game Jam where the theme was "Out Of Place". We decided to incorporate this by having a paladin in a present day city fighting cops. There's also some chirpy tunes that do not feel like they are in the right game. The game is a top down wave based game where you fight to survive.

Nice game, the controls are a little unusual and hard to get used to and the hitbox on the sword could be a little more generous. I like the idea though, and the sounds make the game feel very nice. By the way, check out Unity's new 2D lighting system, they look great on pixel games. Nice game :)

The audio artist is very happy to hear that :D. This game is made with Godot, so I won’t be able to use that, this is one of our first games, so the lighting was an afterthought.
